Dimitrinka Jordanova Peshevska, Professor of Practice in Psychology at the UACS School of Political Science and Psychology, participated at the 23rd International Safe Communities Conference \u201cSafe Communities are an Essential Need for a Modern-Day Society\u201d in Novi Sad, Serbia, October 10-12th 2017. She presented the poster for the paper titled \u201cThe link between the resilient factors in adolescents with abuse and neglect in childhood\u201d (co-authored with: Professor Fimka Tozija, MD, PhD).
\nThe International Safe Communities Conference brought together over 200 experts of the world\u2019s leading researchers, practitioners, policy-makers and activists to share information and experiences and to discuss solutions how to prevent injuries in all areas, for all ages, in all environments and situations, invoking government, non-government and community sector support.
