From 8 to 10 September 2017, the Short Fiction Festival \u201cOther Story\u201d was held in Skopje. This year\u2019s edition was dedicated to Surrealism, and the renowned Macedonian poet, fiction writer and essayist Vlada Urosevic was awarded the festival\u2019s Laureate Prize. Dr Ivan Dodovski, UACS Associate Professor in Critical Theory and Literature, moderated the panel on the festival\u2019s main topic \u201cFreedom, Dream, Love\u201d; the speakers included author laureate Vlada Urosevic, Professor of Comparative Literature Dr Lidija Kapushevska Drakulevska, cultural studies expert Iskra Geshoska and philosopher Mariglen Demiri from Macedonia, the editor of the publishing house \u201cFabrika knjiga\u201d and magazine \u201cRec\u201d\u200b,\u00a0Dejan Ilic from Serbia and Stanimir Panayotov, philosopher and poet from Bulgaria.<\/p>\n
