“Every decision we make shapes our journey.”<\/em><\/p>\n

In this competition, high school students are invited to craft a compelling short story or a poem that explores how a single choice can alter the course of somebody\u2019s life. Whether it\u2019s a moment of courage, a twist of fate, or an unexpected consequence, we want to read stories and poems that capture the power of decisions and their ripple effects.<\/p>\n

Guidelines:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Eligibility:<\/strong>\u00a0Open to all high school students<\/li>\n
  2. Word Limit:<\/strong>\u00a0max 1500 words.<\/li>\n
  3. Language:<\/strong>\u00a0Macedonian, English, French, German, Italian<\/li>\n
  4. Genre:<\/strong>\u00a0Regarding the short stories, any genre is welcome\u2014realistic fiction, fantasy, science fiction, mystery, or even historical fiction. The only rule is that the story must revolve around a pivotal choice.<\/li>\n
  5. Submission Format:
    \n<\/strong>– Typed, double-spaced, Times New Roman, 12 pt.
    \n– Submit in PDF or Word format.<\/li>\n
  6. Judging Criteria:
    \n<\/strong>– Creativity and Originality<\/em>\u00a0\u2013 Unique interpretation of the theme.
    \n– Plot and Character Development<\/em>\u00a0\u2013 Engaging storyline and well-developed characters.
    \n– Language and Style<\/em>\u00a0\u2013 Effective use of language, narrative or poetic techniques.
    \n– Adherence to Theme<\/em>\u00a0\u2013 Clear connection to the concept of a life-changing choice.<\/li>\n
  7. Deadline:<\/strong>\u00a0April 13, 2025<\/span><\/li>\n
  8.
