This competition took place for the sixth time, and encompasses second-year students\u00a0enrolled in the Finance and Banking and the Accounting and Audit study programs.<\/p>\n<p>Under the mentorship of Asst. Prof. Dusica Stevcevska\u2013Srbinoska,\u00a0PhD, the students\u00a0presented projects\u00a0on marketing and financial analysis of the Macedonian confectionery industry. The companies subject to bench-marking were Vitaminka AD Prilep, member of the UACS Business Council, the Nestl\u00e9 Group, and Evropa AD Skopje. The students applied the financial analysis methodology acquired in class for the purpose of interpreting the publicly disclosed annual consolidated reports of the companies, as well as for recommending and highlighting segments in need of improvement. The company representatives, Sanja Vezenkoska and Ivan Strezoski, CFO, took an active role as committee members along with Senior Research Fellow Jadranka Mrsik, PhD, and Asst.
