Dr Stoian, who teaches Translation and Culture courses in the Faculty of Communication Sciences at her home university, addressed the students on the topic of Compliments across cultures. Since the lecture spanned from Contrastive Analysis to Discourse Analysis and Pragmatics, the English language undergraduate and postgraduate students attended the virtual class and actively participated in the discussion afterwards.
