It is with great pleasure that we announce the winners of UACS Ninth Annual Reading Competition 2020<\/strong> organized by the School of Foreign Languages<\/strong> and dedicated to Anna Sewell and her novel\u00a0Black Beauty:<\/em><\/p>\n

  1. The third place is shared by two contestants<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Zoran Cikalov, a third-year student from Jane Sandanski Secondary School in Strumica under the mentorship of his ELT Katerina Panov Kozharov<\/p>\n

    and<\/p>\n

    Kamelija Kalamernikova, a fourth-year student from Jane Sandanski Secondary School in Strumica under the mentorship of her ELT Marija Mraovikj<\/p>\n

    1. The Second place is shared between two contestants as well<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Ivana Panova, a fourth-year student from Jane Sandanski Secondary School in Strumica under the mentorship of her ELT Marija Mraovikj<\/p>\n

      and<\/p>\n

      Ivana Kimovska, a third-year student from Lazar Lichenoski Secondary School in Skopje under the mentorship of her ELT Marija Petkovska<\/p>\n

      1. The first place\u00a0<\/strong>was won by Viktor Angjelkovski, a third-year student from the Secondary School Gostivar from Gostivar under the mentorship of his ELT Janko Lazareski<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Congratulations\u00a0to both students and mentors, and we wish you success in your future endeavors.<\/p>\n

        Twenty third and fourth-year students from several high schools country-wide, located in Skopje, Gostivar, Delchevo, Strumica, Bogdanci, Prilep, Kumanovo, took the challenge and made a video recording of themselves reading an excerpt from the novel of their own choice.<\/p>\n

        We would\u00a0 like to congratulate to and thank all contestants and their mentors for their contribution, the excellent reading submissions, the time and enthusiasm in these challenging times.<\/p>\n

        All twenty videos were of great quality; the students’\u00a0readings excellent; it was a pleasure\u00a0to hear them read.<\/p>\n

        We are looking forward to our ten-year jubilee in 2021 and hoping to host you at UACS once again.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
