UACS students of School of Political Science & Department of Psychology, on Wednesday 19 December 2018 had an excellent opportunity to have a psychology talk, titled:\u00a0Addiction \u2013 A Biopsychosocial Phenomenon: Prevention and Treatment,\u00a0<\/i>presented by the guest lecture Dr. Darko Kostovski, Psychiatrist.\u00a0\u00a0The student of Psychology following the courses\u00a0Health and Clinical Psychology, and Child and Adolescent Development<\/i>\u00a0led by Assistant Professor, Dimitrinka Jordanova Peshevska, PhD, had a chance to discuss selected biopsychosocial factors in understanding drug addiction, as well to hear about key concepts in treatment and prevention.\u00a0Dr. Darko Kostovski,\u00a0Psychiatrist, is an expert in Drug Addiction and Harm Reduction. He works at the General City Hospital –\u00a08 September\u00a0as Head of the Daily Hospital for Prevention and Treatment of Additions. He is also activist in the NGO Project HOPS Skopje.<\/p>\n
