On December 10 2018, UACS held the annual Financial Accounting Competition. This competition is being held for the fourth time, and encompasses the students\u00a0enrolled in the Finance and Banking and the Accounting and Audit study programs.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Under the mentorship of Asst. Prof. Dusica Stevcevska\u2013Srbinoska,\u00a0PhD, the students\u00a0presented projects\u00a0on marketing and financial analysis of a segment from the Macedonian confectionery industry. The companies subject to bench-marking were Vitaminka AD Prilep, member of the UACS Business Council, and Grupacija Krash. The students had to use tools learned in class and apply them for the purpose of interpreting the publicly disclosed annual consolidated reports of the companies, as well as for recommending and highlighting segments in need of improvement.<\/span><\/p>\n

The competition itself was supported by\u00a0 Vitaminka AD Prilep. The company representatives,\u00a0\u00a0Branimir Dimkov and Sanja Vezenkoska, took an active role as committee members along with Assoc. Prof. Snezhana Hristova, PhD and Asst. Prof. Dusica Stevcevska-Srbinoska, PhD. Vitaminka also brought gifts for the participants, as well as awards for the winners.<\/span><\/p>\n

In its 60 years of existence,\u00a0\u00a0Vitamika has grown into a remarkable Macedonian producer and a company which encompasses a vast number of renowned and established brands. Under the company’s slogan “world of tastes”, Vitaminka promotes a wide product range with approximately 350 types of packaging.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Aside from operating on the domestic market, the company\u00a0has also expanded abroad with approximately 45% of its annual production in about 30 countries worldwide.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
