UACS as an active part of the international project “Leaders of the Green Economy”
University American College Skopje is taking an active part in the project “Leaders of the Green Economy” with the faculty of Economics, DOBA – Faculty of Applied Business and Social Studies Maribor, Economics Faculty – EFRI in Rijeka, and the University of Ruse “Angel Kanchev”, Ruse, Bulgaria who are involved in the implementation of this project.
The most important goals of the project are: analyzing, studying, and teaching on the other hand the green and circular economy.
The project envisages research on the level of teaching and research on the concepts of sustainable development and green and circular economy at the participating universities.
As part of the Bootcamp, a visit was held to the companies Ponikve, Krk, which presented their comprehensive work and contribution to the circular economy and presented an analysis of a case that students deal with in their work.
